Forestville Water District is providing advance notice to all customers that, effective January 1, 2027, the District will no longer accept cash payments.

This change is being made to support safe work practices by eliminating the risks associated with cash handling, ensuring an easily traceable payment method and avoiding the additional costs of accepting, securing, and processing cash payments.

The District will continue to accept traceable methods of payment, including personal checks, cashier’s checks, credit card payments, and ACH transactions.

Customers who currently pay by cash are encouraged to identify and secure one of these payment methods before January 1, 2027. Please contact Forestville Water District with any questions regarding this upcoming change.  We are happy to help set up autopay and ACH payment methods.
