The Forestville Water District is looking to fill one (1) FT General Manager position to oversee the Water Distribution System and the Wastewater Treatment/Reclamation and Disposal Plant in Forestville CA. Position requires all applicants to have experience of at least 7 years in Municipal Public Work including 4 years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. Applicants must also have and maintain a CADL Class “C”, D2 and WWTPO III certificates. Salary depends on experience. Closing Date: 8/8/2018. The Forestville Water District is looking to fill one (1) Permanent FT Utility Operator II and (1) Temp. FT Utility Operator II to work on the Water Distribution System and at the Wastewater Treatment, Reclamation and Disposal Plant in Forestville Ca.  Starting salary $36.02/hour.  The District requires that applicants must have and maintain a CADL Class "C", D2, and WWTPO II certificates.  Applications must be received by 5:00 pm on 7/12/2018.  To apply: Email resume and copies of certification to fwd@sonic.net or fax to (707) 887-1552.

9-15-17:

The Forestville Water District Board of Directors is considering implementation of two new Ordinances.  Ordinance #60 seeks to establish a comprehensive fee list for services that the District provides.  Ordinance #61 implements a private sewer lateral inspection/testing/repair for those that are served by the Wastewater Treatment Plant to reduce infiltration/inflow due to damaged or worn private sewer laterals. Private sewer laterals contribute as much as 50% of additional flow to the plant during storm events.  

There will be a public hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the regular meeting location of the Board, 6530 Mirabel Road, Forestville, California to allow the public participate in the process.

NOTICE:
At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Forestville Water District Board of Directors held on May 15, 2018 at the District office located at 6530 Mirabel Road, the BOD held a Public Hearing for proposed Ordinances #62 and #63. 


Ordinance #62 -  to raise the water rates by 5%  for Fiscal Year 2018-19 and  Ordinance #63 - Sewer Rates  for Fiscal Year 2018-19 increase of the ENR-CCR by 2.7% for new sewer connections. All other Sewer Rates will not increase.  

Following public discussion and Director review, both Ordinances were approved.  Following advertisement, the new Ordinances will go into effect no sooner than July 1, 2018.

NOTICE:

If you receive one of these calls, make sure that you listen to the entire message! Instructions on how, when and where you can make your timely payments will be covered. Please do NOT call our emergency numbers for billing/general questions. Our office hours are: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. We are located at 6530 Mirabel Road and we have a mail slot for after-hours payments.
