You may have seen a new addition to the recycled pond along the trail in Forestville. These turtle-looking disks cover the recycled water pond surface reducing duckweed (green micro-plant) growth. Duckweed can cause issues with lab sampling and can plug pump screens. The District took these proactive measures at no cost to the customers.
